water carpet::I too was there at the start of the red carpet waiting patiently like everyone else.
I was there because that was where i was told to be as a paying ticketholder.
Rob got out the car and was immediately whisked away about 10 metres up the red carpet.
I too tried to take a picture of him once on the red carpet and was literally pushed by security.
The only thing they were missing were their bull hooks!
The whole black tie and red carpet experience was just so disappointing.
For the ticket holders who still got their chance for a photo or a signature you are very lucky!
For the first 100 or so of us, we never got so much as a glance.
Security told me we would have our chance once inside the theatre but as you all know that never happened either.
I blame the organizers who made all the money out of us.
I cried all the way back to melbourne!
