carpet wedding in SUNOL.I happen to be a big old movie fan.
My husband likes moviesmaybe not as much as mebut we knew pretty early on that some sort of movie theme would need to be part of our wedding.
I really loved the idea, but felt a little sad about the absence of any color in my wedding.
So we came up with a new ideaeach table in the reception would be an individual movie.
This made it easy to include all of our favorite movies, and turned out to be a fun way to get our guests involved.
One thing i decided very early on was that i wanted small cakes on every table instead of one large cake.
Our friend put together beautiful cakes resembling walk of fame stars that went on each table.
In addition, each table had decorations relating to its movie.
Thanks to we found confetti for just about every table, and we put together additional decorations ourselves.
I found small baskets at goodwill and some artificial purple flowers at a craft store.
I found black witch hat confetti which worked perfectly, and my husband found us some yellow rubber brick pieces for free.
We used them to create a yellow brick road down the middle of the table.
