There was another stain by the bottom of the stairs that smelled like dog feces, and i found out from my neighbor that people who lived in the house before fostered animals, and the carpets were never changed.
I thought the carpet would have to be replaced, as i tried several different detergents and nothing worked, the stain seemed only to get bigger after each attempt to clean it.
The house smelled so bad i did not want to return home from work.
I decided to give professional cleaning one last chance, and was going to change carpets if it failed.
I went online to research carpet cleaner, as i did not want to call back any of the people who cleaned my house before.
And then i accidentally stumbled upon swedry website.
I had to wait another 5 days before the cleaner arrived, and last night i used it to clean the carpets.
The stains are completely gone.
This stuff in absolutely incredible.
And it did not make the carpet wet.
When i srayed the accelerator on the first stain and then put a rag over it to absorb the stain i almost cried when i lifted the rag there was nothing there, and it was an old stain!
Then you have to use their dry stuff and rub it in and vacuum it away easy.
There was one stain i did not completely take out with accelerator, there was still a light spot left, so i followed up with the dry cleaner and today when i came downstairs it was completely gone!
Looks like this stuff works over time.
If you have carpets, give this a try it will make your life so much easier.
